Iso. 4.3 mercruiser complete with manifilds

Bought a boat with a blown 4.3. At least 1 manifold is cracked. Would like to find a complete used one. My boat is a 93 dixie 821.

I have brand new jasper reman sitting on skid. Will ne assembled soon. Starter and alternator just gone through. New fuel pump and carburetor. This is a 205 hp lx motor complete with newer manifolds

I really cant even make an offer without insulting you. I just cant justify that much into a 25 year old boat.

Why don’t you rebuild the one you have?? These people are nuts with their prices, just because it’s for a boat?? I just bought a complete short block off a guy on my way home from our last trip up to the lake. I thought I was just buying a block when I got there it was a complete short block for $200.00 mechanic said it smoked a little and the guy wanted a new one. I just bought it for a spare!! You can rebuild yours for a hell of a lot less than 3 grand!! That’s with new manifolds.

You wont insult me . i know what i have in it 2800 for long block with 0 hrs. 400 for carb. 150 in starter and alternator. 200 for new drive coupling. 300 in manifolds.150 in fuel pump . 40 in water pump. Etc....  Going rate for a used drop in engine is 2500 plus depending on the hrs on it.

PAP.  I actually got 3 engines with the boat.  Every one has a cracked block. Ready or Knot I've managed to find four 4.3 complete engines all for under $1000.  I'd love to have a new one but to spend and extra $2000 just isn't worth it to me.
