Blind Sodus Bay

Is the inlet deep enough for me to get on the lake with an 18' windshield boat. I only need about 2' of water. I am considering renting a cottage there for a few days.

I got through with an 18 footer back in May. Stay close to the south west side. Lot's of strange music blasting from that bay!

I've used the  man made channel on the west side It's 4 ft deep but lake has receded a foot or more. The channel is very narrow.  Be careful. Hopefully the rain this week will help.

There have been multiple fiberglass boats 18-23’ and pontoon boats crossing the old wall that washed out all year. The trick is to stay in the middle and trim your motor up and get a good run at it then trailer your motor all the way up and coast over the ledge.

Thanks for all the replies. I am thinking I may trim up my big motor and my kicker and run out with my trolling motor set very shallow.
