Plugged in rigger tonight and started to retrieve by itself, and wouldn't stop till i unplugged it. Anybody else have that happen? Switch seems ok but can't stop retrieving or letting down. Any ideas?

As an FYI, RTV silicone uses acetic acid (vinegar) as the curing agent. You can smell it in RTV and many other silicone caulks. This can cause corrosion issues, as the acid vapors will attack metals. There is a special non-acid cure version, but it is pricey. Just a heads up.

You need to buy a rubber switch boot to go over switch to keep water out... buy from fish307...authorized cannon parts dealer. This is what i use..it is black...made by GE.. door and window sealant 100 % silicone.. available at Lowes/Depot and does not have acetic acid for curing agent.
