Dunkirk 10/11-12 slow....

Well, kept the boat in for 1 more week....

Took a shot sat a.m. with my son off Canadaway Creek (about 2 miles west of Dunkirk) looking for some steelhead. Trolled for about 1.5 hrs

in 15-30 fow...just smallmouth. Did get out until 10....

Today, hit 60 fow with a friend of mine...great picture no takers....trolled

out as far as 125 fow....you honestly would not believe the bait and fish

on the screen....never moved a rod. Only 2 other boats out...talked to

1 of those, he had 1 walleye for the morning..

SO, in the a.m. I hitting the lake at the crack of dawn to try that nearshore

again...then SADLY, will pull the boat. I told my wife the best 2 weekends

we had all year were Labor Day and Columbus Day......
