Any suggestions for tomorrow?

Recommended Posts

Any tips for tomorrow out of sandy? Haven’t fished this late in a long time. Are browns still in close or better bet to go deep for steelhead? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Taking my dad and guy from firehouse out.

Thanks,

Rick

I’m going out of Sandy tomorrow too. Was thinking of starting in 50-60 fow for awhile - NOAA says water temp is 54 so the east winds have flipped it some

I would start in the dark right in the river mouth ...last few weeks I have fished oak and every time there was color or cool water I killed them early and late. Right in almost casting distance of the wall..even had browns steelhead and a Pike

The best tip I can give you is be careful at the ramp. The lake level is pretty low and you'll have to back in farther than normal to launch/load. The last thing you want to do is drop your trailer tires off the end of the ramp. Seen it a couple of times, and you don't want to be "that guy".

Dead on Mike. I’ve seen that too and it’s not pretty.
You should be able to see where it drops off from the dock. Bring a flashlight if you’re launching early.
