1st bait showing up on shore

With the shore ice finally moving off the south shore beaches, seagulls will search all day for what “rolls” onshore( mostly dead or dying ) bait.

Only gobies so far. Large dead ones and small live ones getting picked off every morning by mergansers. NO commorants migrating in so far.

The birds out of Olcott last Thursday were unreal. All in tight, and hundreds of them.
