Starcraft 196 Fishmaster

I just bought a 2019 Starcraft 196 Fishmaster.  I opted for the 150 Yamaha and 9.9 4 stroke package.  They have great rebates right now that sealed the deal.  I could have gotten the 200 Yamaha but saved $3000 by going with the 150.  I will use my minnkota as the auto pilot.   I may need to eventually upgrade to a 72” shaft in the future, but they tell me my 60” will work for now.  Any comments?

They had rebates on the Yamaha's when I bought mine so I went with F200. If you are fishing Erie or Ontario i would have them replace the 60" shaft with the 72" right now. My dealer shipped me the 72" shaft and I swapped them out and sent back the 60. I have had the 72" shaft come out of the water on occasion.

Yeah they tried to tell me that when i bought my 18 starweld and i put a 72 on that boat which sat a lot lower. I already know my 72" will be marginal for my fishmaster and have other plans.
