Mexico PT Spring Brown Trout

Hi everyone, This coming spring will be my first season out of Mexico Point for spring fishing. I have always fished out of Oswego and have moved my boat to Mike's Marina. Not looking for any secret spots, but would love some info to point me in the right direction. I will be fishing at the end of April and the middle of May.

Simply have to work it like any other area. Look for colored water, warmer pockets, outflows etc.

Fishing in either direction you can find fish. Between Catfish and the plant can be productive but also fair amount of traffic on nice days.

No long lines, use side planers in shallow water.

catfish creek area is a good place to start. on slow days venture closer to the plant and the high rocks. some good steelhead over that way.

Head for the plant stay tight to shore line and plant corner marker at first light you will find the fish and a few boats showing you were to work .
