Great lakes trolling rods

Any experience with these rods . I am looking for new dipsy rods and wondering if the talora is worth the extra 50 per rod over these . Thanks to all

I have taloras since they came out around 2004 they are worth the extra 50.00.

I have both, and for the weekend guy the GL rods are fine, yes the talora are a little nicer, but 50 is a big difference

I've run the Great Lakes rods for a few seasons now. They are a nice rod, but I feel they could do a little better on fit and finish.

I have been running them too and feel they are not as durable as the Heartlands were and the medium action rigger rods seem a little lighter action than the heartlands.
