The wind has turned around to the northeast and that dropped the water level by about 4 inches from yesterday. I think any decent western blow will put it close to 2017.

There's an official water level gauge at A Bay. Here's a pic at my dock 5 minutes ago. About 10 inches to go.

Do you know if there is a online gauge that can be found?

Are you on facebook? If you are follow Chaumont Hardware, Greg does a lot of updates.

Here you can choose from gauges all over the country. If you scroll down you can choose from 4 gauges on Lake Ontario.

You can choose a maximum of a 31 day interval.

Here is the last month for the Rochester Gauge.

my opinion only, but I would wait till some of this water goes down before heading up.... im not even sure if you will be able to get a boat in if the ramps are flooded.... I will probably be bashed for this one.....lol I am leaving my boat in the barn till the water at least crests.... I would think it will be a mine field out there....  there will be a lot of damage to docks , boat houses etc..... and all of it will be in the water.....

no worries, go fish.  Plenty of ramps open and fishing is outstanding.

regardless of the water level we will be up, ng is not a problem. I was just wondering if there was a site that I could keep an eye on it. In '17 we had one of the best years ever and I can't imagine that this year will be any different.
