Heading for Cayuga north end of the lake long point area. Wondering if anyone has any good starting points. Will be the first trip of the year for me. Any help apritiated will post results tomorrow thanks in advance

I haven't been up yet this season. I always do good just north in front of the college. I troll but always see jiggers there as well .

Might see you up there my vacation starts Friday .

I fished all weekend from longpoint to power plant.... Ran the big board literally 5 foot off the docks... Many many better than average lake trout... Few shaker salmon and some very nice smallmouth

 

Boat was in 13 fow ish inside board was in 3-4 fow

 

Morning surface temp was 49-51... 55 by afternoon

 

 

I fished some deeper mark with no bites... A lot of bait and fish down over 250 still

 

 

Father in law with a couple.. and ps perch fishing off the dock was unbelievable
