Big job planer pulley

Use a riggers clamp to clamp on tower. The riggers clamp comes with a bolt that you can attach the eye of the pulley. I use a spring to absorb the shock.

Get a stainless U bolt that fits tubing on tower with long enough threads to add a second mounting bracket.  Use first bracket to tighten U bolt to tower. Put an eye bolt in second bracket and open eye to attach pulley then double nut to eye bolt.  U bolts available at most hardware stores.

Not sure what to call this clamp but I got it at Home Depot along with the spring and eye bolt and clamped it on to the aluminum frame on the boat. I used some strips of tire inner tube to line the inside of the clamp to prevent it from slipping! Works fantastic for pulling my Otters! [emoji2]

Let’s hope not! It’s 3 years old already and so far so good! And if it does, I’ll break down and spend another $4 bucks for two new ones! [emoji2]

Yeah, definitely not gonna break the bank, lol. Even if it did start to corrode, you could just sand and paint it. Once again, great idea! They probably make them in stainless too.

This is how I did mine.  These clamps are stainless and have been using in fresh and salt water for 2 years.

I like them because if I don't want them on the boat, I can remove the outer screw only (which holds the pulley in place) and the clamp stays put.

Just buy them to fit your T-Top tube size.
