Olcott / Wilson 6-9-2019

Recommended Posts

Absolutely hammered Kings out of Olcott on Sunday despite the east winds. Mild wave height and non stop action. Probably landed 30 and lost about 6. Kept our 4 man limit and released the rest healthy.

80-250fow

best nite was between 90-160. Fish were up high. Top 50ft. All magnum spoons. They didn’t touch Stingrays or Super Slims. Meat only took two fish

That's awesome. Them are some nice looking kings. Did it seem to be better as u got closer to Wilson ? I'll be out in the morning. Looks like it's going to nice tomorrow.

No. It got worse. The closer we got to Wilson the dirtier the water got. Water also got a lot colder. We didn’t catch anything once the water turned ice cold.

I was there Saturday the 8th. Fishing was no good for us. 3 to 5 foot waves. We fished deeper. I have a bad habit of starting at 150 or 170 and trolling north hoping to find them. I think I miss them too often when they are shallow.
