Clip for holding net bag back

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a picture of how they rig a clip to your net handle to keep the bag from being pushed out in front when netting a fish?  I can't get any pictures when searching for some reason.

Thanks in advance

Scotty down rigger clip ... just wrap the excess wire around the handle and duct tape it in a position that it reaches and keeps the very tip of the net as far back as possible.

Bass pro does have a custom clip.  Basically two parts, one goes on the net hoop and the other on the netting itself.  The two connect with a strong magnet. Under the weight of a fish, the magnets release and you're good to go.

Buy this for $3 from Home Depot - magnetic carabiner hook - and attach it to the bottom of your net. Then use electrical tape to attach a washer to your net handle. The two couple together perfectly and come apart easily when you lift a fish in the basket. It's a three dollar solution and it works slicker than sh!t.
