Speed question

Just got a Fishhawk and used it for the first time on the 4th.  So far I’m liking knowing the temp and speed down there.  Not looking forward to losing my first probe.  Whats a good average speed to start with?

, 2.5 most days , some days it’s 2.7 - 2.9 . Have to see what the fish want. I change my speeds . Then when a fish hits, I’ll dial it in .

Speed right out of the box can be different if you don't reset it... If you are truly able to change speeds by .3 mph with you boat play around at different speeds and find what is best with your rig and use that as your starting point

Put your probe down 10 feet in flat water and go four different directions and then adjust accordingly
