Chaumont Bay Report

Did some ice fishing on Dec. 27th. The ice was about 5-7 inches. Caught a 20-22" walleye, a 18-20" whitefish and a bucket and a half of Perch with a buddy. Good to be out again. Was a bit windy but settled down after a while. Fished from 7:30/8 until 1. Fish taken on jigging spoons and bibbits. Minnows and eyes worked good. Quite a bit of ice melted the day after we were out, but should come back quick with the cold temps were gonna get. Can't wait to get out again. Good to be home, but I gotta find some new spots now that I've moved to the Canandaigua area. Tightlines!
