I had bought one last year and it had worked good for us. Well until I had I mishap with my wire on the dive during the derby. Funny thing is that it had jumped out of the water like a steelhead would. Maybe just to laugh at us. I think it just gives it a little different roll. Whether or not that comes into play or not remains to be seen. I pick up a couple at the show so time will tell

I have not used them personally but I believe a friend of mine Captain John Warren (Kingseeker Charters) on Lake Michigan has used them with good success. I have been told it is a good product with great warranty on the paint
