Wayne County Fishing Report for July 30, 2019

Recommended Posts

Lake Ontario- The LOC Derby is over and the Sodus Pro-Am is over, however the fishing is not over. The kings have been 20 to 25 pounds, a little on the smaller side. But…they are all very healthy fish.

Currently they are straight out from Hughes Marina and Sodus Bay in 120 to 140 feet of water down 65 to 85. They have been hitting spoons, cut bait and flasher flies. Purple has been the go-to color.

The water temps down 65 feet have been 55 degrees. There is a cold front right on top of Sodus this afternoon, so everything will change overnight.

Bays- Wayne County still has a no-wake condition. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office declared a State of Emergency on Sodus Bay, East Bay, Port Bay and Blind Sodus Bay effective 12:01 a.m. Saturday May 11.
