autopilot on a inboard

I have a 25ft sportcraft with a inboard and hydralic steering and want to put a autopilot on it. i need just a basic unit to hold the boat staight when there is only one or two people on the boat and we hook up. Any suggestions on the best buy for the situation and i would like a quailty unit so i am not looking for the cheapest?

I am also thinking about installing a kicker but was not sure if it could get hooked to the same steering system?

Check with Jim at BOE and ask him about the Raymarine ST6002. I just bought one to replace my old Raytheon AP. http://www.byownerelectronics.com/store ... 368&page=1

Simrad also makes a good AP, and I think you'll find that there are plenty of guys here that are happy with both their Raymarine's and their Simrad's.
