I had those release in my boat for 2 years w/o trying it and last week I finally decide to give a try while fishing lakers and landlock on Champlain and I was very impress; fast & easy and easy to adjust.

Scotty Hairtrigger Release - 18" Extended Hairtrigger [1032]

Next time I will give a try with braid line
