Thoughts about today fishing out if the Port o Rochester

Went out yesterday. Very choppy. Temps of 47-50 were very deep. Took my dad. Went 1/3. Heading out today. With so many wind changes etc does anyone have any good tips or thoughts on where to go? I'll be on the water at 2pm. Looks like rain but I can deal with that.

[Sweet Caroline]

Fished slightly east of Irondequoit. Bite started in 250 fow and got better as went out. Made it out to 400 fow. Various spin docs on wire and copper produced and had a few bites on meat down 105. No matures though although we did have a couple rips that seemed like big fish and I know a couple boats scored a mature or two out there but nothing like last week.

Horrible day for me out of the oak 3 knockoffs in 3-400fow lots of bait inside swing and a miss for today..

[Bad Habit]

Fished today out of I-Bay. Had a decent day but had to go deep. 500 feet  straight out was best. A few kings and steelhead. Riggers, Leadcore and dipseys all took hits. Nothing to big. Riggers set between 70 and 85. Dark lures and silver and blue were best for us.

Went out 2pm to 7pm. Choppy again. 3 for 6. Nothing big. Green black spoons and meat. Started at 350 trolled with the waves.
