Hey everyone,

just moved back to Buffalo from Florida. Have a 14 ft Whaler docked at Rich Marine. I’ve been crushing some fat smallies lately but that’s about it. I am a young guy, 28, and have developed a true passion for angling. I am so excited to explore our amazing freshwater fishing in the region. I am particularly interested in walleye and musky for upper niagara (maybe the odd northern pike?), and VERY interested in all things trout (browns, rainbows, steelhead, Lakers) and salmon in lower Niagara/Bar.  if anyone would be so kind to help me with a few tips on Musky fishing around strawberry island that would be soo appreciated! I am particularly looking for info about tackle (rod and reel size/strength, mono or braid, types of lures and their size, troll speeds, time of day and year, etc)
