went out from the east side today. fished about 1 1/2 miles north of union springs by a green channel marker. the perch fishing was great. 2 of us fished for 3 hours and we kept 63 perch 8-10 inches. i was using a silver castmaster spoon with a 3inch dropper to a glow ratfinky. i could not fish 2 rods the fishing was that fast. i wished i could have fished longer but i don't have a shack and the wind got to me. there were 4 wheelers on the ice, the ice thickness was 8 inches.

Is the ice past the island? Was there alot of people out there?

We went to the same area today and did good on perch. pretty much non stop action, but most of the perch were 7 -8 inches and went back.

The ice is way south of the island and that is where we are hitting next.
