Garmin Trolling Motor

I was given a short demo on a boat with the garmin last fall. It is whisper quiet and very powerful. Garmin and the lowrance are definitely the future of trolling motors and minn kota needs to play catch up in my opinion. The only thing is the shaft length seems too short. We were in a calm bay and the length wasn't a problem but I could see it being too short in a chop

What size boat was it on? I need to replace the Minkota 60” that is on my Targa V18 and hope the 57” model will work.

From what I understand it's more of a Bass boat trolling motor as it doesn't come in lengths needed for bigger aluminum boats and walleye boats. That being said if the shaft lengths do work for you shoot me a message and I can get you a price on one.

It looks like I will have to wait and see if I leave the 60” I have now will work well raised up 3”. Would not be good to drop that kind of money on a new one to end up being too short. Maybe they will offer a longer shaft but from what I have read they aren’t going to spread out to offer too many options.
