Marinas can open

Good news for sure. Some clear guidance for recreational anglers and having the marinas and launch’s open is at least at step towards getting charters/guides back on the water.  The “No Rentals” policy is a good addition IMO- on smaller bodies of water like Chautauqua where I live the rental boats are usually packed- pontoons with 8/10 people, 16 foot open boats with 4/5 people.  Bigger density of people on these boats than on the majority of charter boats.

Whether there is a bigger density or not on rentals you still cannot maintain the 6 ft of distance ordered by the state when it comes to charters no matter how big of a boat you use for chartering.

I also think it has to do with their clientele base being from way outside the region. If one reads between the lines its clear that the states really dont want people travelling too far for recreational activities and those activities need to remain solitary.....That being said time will tell....
