Tie Bar Hook Kit

I have two Yamaha outboards 200hp 4 stroke and a 9.9 4 stroke high thrust kicker both 2009 models. The 9.9 came with a Tie bar hook kit that hooks to the front of the motor. This would allow a tie bar to be run from the front of the big motor by the hydraulic steering to the front of the kicker. That way I could steer both motors. In the past I have always used the Ez steer that hooks to the back of the motors. I called Yamaha they said the product (tie bar) is available but they dont sell them. Anyone know how to get one and if it works as well or better than the EZ steer? Thanks Sean
