It has been a while since I have put a fishing report on LOU!

Saturday May 16

Left the dock in full search mode of a King bite, made a hard left turn leaving Bald Eagle (my summer home), and trolled west towards the Oak. Set down in 30' and never went past out 90'. Found a mix of fish 50-80 fow but 60 fow ended up being the magic spot for silvers. Great mix of Kings and Lakers with a few Coho mixed in. Easily the best day we have had with salmon numbers yet in 2020.

The program

3 riggers (22', 33' 44')

2 divers (44', 55')

2 100' coppers

2 150' coppers

As for spoon color there was really no hero. black/silver to mixed veggie they all took fish.

Sunday May 17

Left the dock with the same plan in place but was rudely greeted with an East wind. Looked at lot more water today but in hindsight the Kings we caught were in 55-65 fow like yesterday. We had a third or a quarter of the total bites we had the day before as Saturday's bite really spoiled us.

Sunday's program was the same as the day before but we fished it a bit deeper on the riggers and divers.

The program

3 riggers (29', 39' 49-59')

2 divers (66', 77')

2 100' coppers

2 150' coppers

200' copper (chute)
