Was solid over the weekend.  A bit slower yesterday but we got out at 1pm so that didn’t help.  Temp was down 85 yesterday and a tad deeper today.  Decent bite early again this am.  130-300.   Fish are spread out but they are there.

Decent screens in 120-140 fow today but not many wanted to play. Mainly spoons with a couple fly bites for us with others doing some on meat. 210-230 fow was another area that produced some bites for others, but very scattered. No derby fish for us today, but two tank steelhead in the mix pushing 10+ lbs that put on a great aerial show!

I expect today's west wind may push some warmer water in and drive those fish deeper.  With temp being so deep already, it's a good time to focus on short water <150fow and offshore where 50F is within lure reach (it was around 350fow a couple of nights ago).

Or just start in 80fow, point north, and enjoy the day :)

Thanks for the info, it’s a really nice morning.

started in about 130 strong west wind, a little choppy, some fish marks, surface was 68 down at 100 to get 45 degrees.

Two hits right away, didn’t get either fish, then a hookup on a big laker, weighted in at 18 pounds at North Rose scale. By then we were almost to Oswego, took about an hour and 45 minutes to get back to Sodus going very slow, very rough by 10 am

thanks again for sharing info
