Out on the lake out of Hughes currently. Only one skipper salmon about 14 inches in 130’ of water. Anyone else out having the same slow luck?

Out to almost 400 had one mature on at 300 fow 100 down on dipsy ff. Broke off the fly and broke my rod. Blank screens after that

We’re in 350 now and just marked the first fish in an hour. We’re the yellow and brown 17’ makeshift trolling boat. Swore I wouldn’t get another boat until I found a good one and then got this one for free and here I am washing lures again for the first time in a long time.

was planning on taking the kids out fishing this afternoon. One a first timer .  Any decent laker depths? Just want them to land some fish . Havent been out in over a week

I have a dumb question.  Is there a straight up public boat launch at Hughes?  I just got an R180 this year - that I have been trailering -and have mostly been going out of IBay as we live just east of Rochester.  My wife and I love the Pultneyville area though and I have been wanting to change it up.  Thanks for the info guys!

They have camping ,2 launches but unsure the cost used to be $10 to launch

Awesome, thanks for the info guys!  I'll give them a call this week - trying to check it out Friday if the work schedule permits.  Hopefully the fishing gets better than it sounds lately, haha...

We ended up moving into 80-90 foot at about 1 pm and picked up a laker and packed up and headed home.
