I think most of the transducers for that unit start at about 140-150 khz so and above so you should be OK as the Fishhawk is 70 khz as far as signal interference goes.

go to there web sight they have different pictures on how and where to mount it is very good also call service at fish hawk they also will give you all the info great service i just bought one they emailed me all the pictures and charts for the back of the boat where to install

My transducers are within an inch of each other. Only they are not all turned on at the same time. My waypoints saved on my older machines are still available now. I can also back up their use because the old  machines show up fish that do not appear on the new machine. I do not know why, maybe ping speeds are different or frequencies are suited better. Keep your old machines available.
