2021 Turkey

Recommended Posts

Tommy got it done with his bow this morning. I was in the blind till 830 but had to go to a meeting. Had an old hen in front of me for a half hour.
Tommy went to the blind after I left and the Tom’s came out a few minutes later.
He captured the whole thing on video but unfortunately it’s way too technical for me to upload lol. Frogger I sent you the video lol. IMG_2519.thumb.JPG.0e0c0f141388fb6bad609354c9e5ad86.JPG

Good luck to you! Post how you make out. I tried BRB last week and got skunked. Haven’t fished the river except for perch.
Love this time of year. We were going to Cape Cod for black sea bass next week but now it looks like it may be to windy. So much to do so little time in May!

And this Jake this past weekend. The jake is noticeably more tender.

I took Kevin’s advise and skinned them out and took the neck, back, and wings. I cook them in the instapot with veggies and it is excellent.

I get at least 1/3 more meat if I don’t just breast them and it is good for grinding and bones make great soup.
