Where do the browns go!

Where do the browns go when the water is clear? Do they move offshore and suspend or just bury down on the bottom during the day and feed at night.?

They find the warmer, stained water, structure and bait.

I have found they scatter in the deeper water and hunt gobies.  I have picked a couple up at this time of the year on Cowbells and Gambler Rigs lake trout fishing in 75-120'.
