Ice remnants continued to lock on the Canadian shoreline Wednesday morning. Some floes moved down Niagara River currents as Ice Boom sections are pulled from the head of the river. But mud stain and high winds have kept most shore and boat-bound anglers off Lake Erie, upper and lower river, and Niagara Bar waters this past week.

Today's satelite pictures show only a little ice remaining in the Buffalo shore line areas. It will not be long before the Bar starts up for the spring fishing. Be ready.
