Morning bite was crazy. Hoping the rest of July is like the last 3-4 days.

What temp break do you usually look for? A couple degree difference in a few feet or a certain temp zone?

A little of both really.  Yesterday the surface temp was 71*, 35’ down was 64*, 45’ down was 50*, 55’ down was 44*.  Depth and water temperature won’t have a linear relationship once thermocline sets up.  48-52* is where they want to be, sometimes just a little below.  Hope this helps.
