Looking for a golden retriever pup

Friend just lost his golden retriever after 11 years. I really need to find him another but man these are some expensive dogs. Most I found cost over $1500. Hell any mutt cross with a golden might even add to the cost. Lol. I need a purebred male pup. No intention of breeding or hunting so don't care who the dogs grandmother was. Just need a good pet with papers. Will buy now or put deposit on future breeding just not looking for any of the overpriced dogs I've seen recently. Anybody got pups or know of any available now or in the next few months please pm me.
