I've heard a fish hawk is a great upgrade...been considering one.

I would agree 100%..

I have the X4D I think, will check the box when I get home.

Definitely a must have for Lake Ontario

I sold my 22’ Starcraft blue water in the fall and was searching for a bigger boat.  The plan was to buy a 27’ tiara open.  That didn’t happen.  I ended up buying a 24’ Penn Yan contender that needed some TLC.  After 8 weeks of working on it, she’s ready to go!  Here are some photos of what she looked like and now looks like.  I upgraded all the electrical, riggers, rod holders, kicker bracket wood, new bolsters, all new vinyl and I added LED lighting under the gunnels.

Previous owner had the wiring so wonky with the batteries he had. Helm off one main battery, accessories of the other main and riggers off the accessory battery. Threw in another perko, some ARCs, 25' of 0ga wire and a bag of zip ties....
.good to go. No more autopilot quitting and having to jump a starting battery.

Sent from my SM-G965U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I finally broke down and got rid of the 15 year old back to back seat on the port side, and added another fishing seat.  Lots of room now in the back of the boat.  I also tied in my kicker to my main fuel tank with an anti-siphon valve off the fuel/water separator.  Pulled in the kicker closer to the boat with a homemade mount for my CMC power trim.  And I bought a cushion for my cooler and fabbed some snaps on the cooler so it looks right.

Still figuring out how to tie in the Raymarine ST1000+ auto pilot to my I/O, 1st step is to build a mounting box under the port side transom cover...

Added a tower, some rod holders, lights, and some new cisco planer reels and pulleys.  Ditched the old bimini and planer masts/rod holders.

Shook her down last week, she'll be splashing in Wilson in a week.
