Coldwater for 10 color and 300 copper

Curious what size coldwater a you guys using with 10 colors and 300 copper with backer?

You can prolly fit the 10 color on a 45 and 55 for copper. I did manage to get 300 of 32 pound copper with braid backing on a 45 tho and have had enough backing on the fish it caught.

I have 2 300’s on 45 series reels now. I bought a new cold water 453. I am debating what to do with it. Rigger rod or what

That's pretty good size for riggers we use 30s for riggers we did good on a 250 copper last year on a 45 convector

May try to fit one of 10 colors on it then. I use them quite often on local lakes for walleye also.
