Recommendations for a boat cooler

Looking to buy a cooler that I would be using for tournament fishing on Lake Ontario. Just wondering what everyone is using. Something that would would 5 to 7 mature salmon. Thanks in advance for the reply’s

Igloo makes a huge “marine” one. People buy the big yetis and such. I just can’t see dropping the coin to fill one with fish water and slime.

you can get the igloo 150 qt cooler for 129.00 at amazon and they have a 120 qt or 100 qt at a lower price.

Igloo marine cooler is the best out there imo. 2 bags of ice or some frozen gallon jugs and u are good to go. Some days I with it had wheels though lol

Another vote for igloo.  I use the cheap 120 qt polar cooler and put two cat litter jugs with frozen water.   Only complain is the latches break sometimes, but replacements are cheap.

 

I have a yeti that lives on the boat, but thats just for food and drinks.  too heavy to be throwing around with a couple limits of kings in there.

I have 2 Coleman 150 qts and 1 Igloo 150qt.  The colemans hold ice three times longer than the Igloo.  Look into the Coleman marine 150qt cooler.  I would stay away from the Igloo unless you want to burn through ice.
