Whaler was working so I took a buddy from Fire Dept. We fished 6am till Noon. Took a quick look inside for browns but couldn’t find right temp. We ran 2 dipseys, and 2 riggers stacked. We were 7 for 11. 5 kings, 1 steely and 1 brown. Brown was 55 down over 270 which was a shocker to me. We lost 2 big fish and one I think was a steelhead based on the aerobatic show it put on. Best water was 240-270 down 55-70. SD/fly on dipsey took multiple fish. Stinger E-chip/fly took 1 and lost another. NK mag took the smallest,

largest and most fish. My buddy reeled in all the big ones at 16, 18, and 19 pounds. One lamprey that went back cut up. Get back to the dock and the Sheriff boat was there. Talking with the guys and find out one of them works with my oldest son part time and his son plays lacrosse with my youngest. Small world.

Good trip! Heading out in a couple hours. Thanks for the update. Did you head west or go east out of the Genny?  Thanks again.

We stayed pretty much in front of the Genny, if anything little east when making my turns. Good luck!

Had a fun night. 11 for 14. Lots of action in the 220-240 range trolling west. Took your advice straight out of the Genny. Consistent action all night. NBK continues to be the best spoon on the boat. We got mostly skippers, a nice steelhead which we lost close to the boat when it jumped and shook the lure. And a mature king. Took the big king on a purple spoon down 70 ft. Put up a huge fight. It was spent and did not look like it was to survive. So we put it in the cooler and gave it to a nice guy on the pier when we came back in. He was loving life. My son brought a friend that has never been on lake O, he couldn’t believe it. Had the time of his life. Fishing seems to be solid. Thanks again for the info.
