60 plus degrees... wtf... Less than ideal conditions today but here I am back on the ground hoping for a third opportunity and some redemption to end this muzzleloader season. 3 days to go although tomorrow probably won't happen with the rain forecasted. LFG!!!

Today waa probably our last day. My daughter scored this pretty good one. Not bad for late season NY. Although it seems like the quality is starting to get better the last few years. The number of shooters on camera and seen from the stand are on the rise. Good luck to those of you still getting out. 20221230_150708.thumb.jpg.a12f6f6304d2c3c25b6c9df28d7bdee5.jpg

December 30 pm
63 degrees
SW wind 5-15
Partly sunny

Wasn't expecting much and that's exactly what I got. First Deer didn't show up until 455. Saw 3 does/fawns and 2 small bucks from the set and 3 does/fawns on the walk out. Pretty damn quiet!

A lady that lives on Hincher posted that she watched the take down a broken tined big buck the other day. Sucks cuz we have tons of pics of him and gave him a pass this year because of the broken tines. Obviously no pics of him since. So far we’ve killed two of them.
