Just let them have their 3 weeks of fun snagging half dead zombies. Charge 100.00 snagging fee for salmon only no trout. Fine anyone with a trout on the bank in those 3 weeks and the state will make more money now then every before. And there will be enough salmon to collect eggs

The salmon feed in all temp. I've caught them in 38 deg up to 70 deg. Just depends on when they are hungry and your presentation goes by them.

Its because the companies are trying to save pennies by thinning out their products. The newer spin dr i noticed a while back that they are lighter and thinner and thats why they are breaking.

Im so glad I left this lake 10 yrs ago. I was seeing the decline back then. Ray and I would fish the lake 3 days a week in the winter with great success. Then boom. You went from awesome trip to scratching your head and saying what heck is goin on. State dont care

Fish come to the warmer water to eat. Thats why I run 1 rigger in ice box. 1 rigger in 48 to 56 deg and 1 in the bath water and most if my bigger fish come out of the warm water.
