I was just casting from shore on the east side of the river. There was a little color in the lake too.

Fished from 7:30-9:30 along the breakwall. Didn’t catch anything. No bites even. I was using a firetiger casting spoon, little Cleo’s spoon and a jointed rapala brown trout. I’ll be headed out again towards the end of the week. I will say the sunrise was beautiful as always. Amazing what that sight and a little fishing does for the soul.

Wandering a couple things. Which of the finger lakes is closest to Lake Ontario. Also what are some names of towns on that lake? Hopefully the question isnt to complicated. Thanks for all your help.

Id like to thank Ray,his dad and his son Tommy on Redneck yatch for taking me fishing yesterday. I had a blast and had a pretty darn good day fishing wise too. Thanks again fellas.

I just signed with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL. Rochester has a team called the Americans. If you arent famailar with hockey the best way I can explain the league is that its identical to AAA ball in relation to the majors. Hope that helps out.

Im from ohio and I fish out of a 1944 14ft Texas maid aluminum boat so it limits me on getting out on a big lake. Any where west of Rochester would be awesome but im not going to be picky, i would just love get out before i head out for the winter. Thanks again for all your guys help.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but why are the low temps so bad for fishing?

What are everyones thoughts on the oak as a fishing port. If you dont mind me asking what are the property prices looking like there? Any other information about that area would be great. Im considering moving there and ive visited once and loved it, now i just want to see what other people think. Thanks for all your help
