ESPN's Sportscenter did a report on asian carp and their threat to the fisheries of the great lakes a few weeks ago (focus was mainly on Lake Michigan). It was interesting. Google it and I am sure that you can veiw it. I was left thinking that the fight against asian carp is like the war on drugs.

Clear water, surface temps increased as we continued to work west. In total, worked about 10.5 miles west of port between the 26 and 27N lines. All fish came 40feet and up. Did not mark any bait. Should be an interesting Proam.

I've noticed that the "seals" on the guides have worn through which cuases the line to rub against the screw. Anyone have this problem. What would you recommend to fill the gap?

Anyone ever come across a terminator kit similiar to the tru trac? We just lost our third probe in two years and I would like to make it our last. We ran the fish hawk for 5 years previous and never had any problems. However, the depth raider provides a much more consistent reading hands down. Wanted to try the setup recommended in this thread.

There is a 27ft for sale at pennyanboats.com that might be worth taking a look at (the 2000 Sea Stalker). We have the same engine in our 26ft Seatracker and we could not be happier. Lots of room, plenty of power.

Does anyone know which weekend in August Screwy Louies will be holding the Fairhaven Challenge? (need to buy the plane tickets home, earlier I buy them the better)
