  2. Wellington sounds like it is starting to heat up. Try around Scotch Bonnet and always talk to Chris at the Reel Thing tackle shop. He can usually tell you whats working and where the charter guys are hooking up.

    My past experience is that Wellington is usually hot from the beginning of July until the 3rd or last week. Then it becomes quite spotty. The local fishing clubs have started stocking heavily in the area and this has undoubtably helped out. I usually fish out of Port Hope because it is a longer season and more predictable. However, it is very busy come the start of the Great Ontario Salmon Derby.
