  1. Nice boat. Somebody will be very happy. I have a question about the winter cover. Is this something that you had custom made or did you buy it somewhere off the shelf? I am looking for a cover for my boat which is why I am asking. Thanks, Mike

  2. Chatillon scale bullet proof construction. No batteries to fail and comes IGFA certified.

Tried all the electronic digital versions and every one crapped out over time. Was also quite happy with the built in scale on the Boga grip. Unfortunately it bottoms out at 30 lbs so isn't much good for derby fish. Chatillon has a model that goes up to 50 lbs. model number is IN-050. Measures from 0 to 50 lbs in 8oz increments. Very happy with it so far.

  3. Checked out the new king of the lake website. Clean and easy to navigate.

I do have one question about the tournament fees. I notice that the payments are all in USD this time.

I thought this was a bit strange being that these are Canadian tournaments. Will this mean that the payouts will also be in USD now?

See we are up to 21 teams so far in the overall this year.

With the addition of the amateur event the marina should be busy.

Looking forward to the first tourney. Got the boat out of storage this weekend and started the spring prep. Winter has been way too long. Can't wait!

  4. I attended the show for the first time today. Awesome show. I thought these Victrola copper setups were the coolest thing at the show. I chatted at the booth for a while today and ended up buying an older one to put on display at home back in Canada.

Nice people and I got a card from him.

  5. I seen posted on the site about this show. Can anyone give me more information about it. Was thinking of driving down from Canada and making a weekend of it. Was in Watkins Glen last fall and wanted to spend a bit more time there. Was at the Lotsa show last weekend and have made that a yearly event.

How does this show compare to lotsa in size and trolling supplies for salmon fishing?

Any replies would be appreciated. I need to book the time off work and arrange for hotel etc shortly.

Does anyone have a suggestion for nice hotel nearby? Wife will be with me so nicer rather than cheaper probably.

    Thanks, Mike
