  1. Well, After the last 7 years of fishing for the big one and trying to top our first Lake Ontario King that tipped the scales at 26 lbs...we finally did it...this Hog came on board on Friday afternoon last week and weighed in at 33.5 lbs, 40 inches long and the tail was 11 inches tip to tip... and was caught the day before the Big Fish derby in Olcott...of coarse...I dont think we have ever experienced such a thrill as we did that evening as we watched that thing take a Dipsy, Spin Doctor and Fly set at 120 out on a 3.5 setting and strip wire until we stopped her at 600 feet...30 minutes to get her in the net and now shes off to the taxidermist...what a rush! This is why we fish! My buddy Tom Frigo happened to be the man to suffer the battle as he was closest to the rod when that thing slammed the fly...he had only been Salmon fishing one other time with me and we limited on Kings in the 15 - 20 lb range...then we hooked that thing...Tom thinks I'm one hell of a fisherman but it seems like I do better when hes on board! Maybe he's why im lucky!

  2. Missing a wire line setup. The last time I had it, was fishing out of Wilson in middle or late April. Don't know if I left it by the ramp when putting boat on trailer. I know fisherman are pretty honest, so if anyone found it they can call Bob at 7166469724. Thanks for looking. Happy Fishing.......

  3. Fished Artpark on 10/25, Water below the plant was brown. Above the plant slightly greener. Hooked three fish landed one big laker. I didn't catch any steel, but I did see two small ones landed on shore. I'll be back out in a few weeks.

Hey Jason, if you need a fishing partner some time call Bob (Alan's friend) 646 9724. Still have that seat pedistal you want to sell? Have ya been out lately? Like to bring my 16" Starcraft up there, but I could use advise on how to fish. Hope to talk to ya soon. Have a Happy Thanksgiving'

  4. Fished 5-8 PM, east of the red can, 130-200 fow, surface temp from 49.5-51 F. Wind 15-20 out of the west. Ended the day 4 for 10 and lost 2 right at the back of the boat all fish between 8 and 15 lbs. Fish came off of the downriggers, and dipseys I believe they were split 5 and 5. Red coyote with green atomik fly and Mt. Dew. Spindoctor with Atomik No-See-Um off the riggers 45 down. Purple frog and Watermelon NKs off the dipseys 105-135 back on a 2.5 setting. Trolled with the wind today and saved a little gas.

[[ Nice job young man. We were out there during the day, caught two small cohoes and lost two kings. I lost a great fighter at the back of the boat. Really enjoyed the fight.

  5. Hey amigo, I fish out of the Fort quite a bit, either there or out of Olcott. Welcome aboard

Thanks for the reply Adam. Hope to talk to ya on the radio this spring. My name is Old Amigo. I just sold my 21' Trophy just like yours last year. Couldn't get anybody to fish with and was to big to handle for myself. Hated to do it cause I loved it. Can't wait for the spring derby. Tight lines buddy........ Adios
