  1. We where on the water at 5:30am and put hothead boat back on the trailer at 8:45pm. We covered a lot of water but managed to go 5 for 8! The morning started strong with a small king followed by a domestic rainbow and 20 lb king and then things shut right off for 7 hours. We took a double just before dark on 400 copper and a dipsy f/f. Spoons produced in the morning and meat and f/f. Fished from 110 to 150.

  2. I was curious so googled it.   I got some info but sadly no concrete answer on size.  I'll have to continue with my previous assumption.  My boat ain't gonna cut it lol.

You always have to go on the side of caution out there. I have been out when it’s been a little bumpy and by the time I have gear picked up i have had a nasty ride in. I watch the wind and waves constantly. You can’t always get in before a storm blows up and I have had times where I motor 3 or 4 miles out of my way to find better water in tight to get back to the launch safely. We don’t always have that option. Good luck out there. If you have to question yourself about if it’s safe or not it’s best to wait for a better day.

  4. After we bounced around on Friday morning we headed back to the dock and changed leaders and headed back out for browns. It wasn’t to long and we had a rigger fire with a nice 12lber on that put us on the LOC board and an early lead in the youth division. Saturday it was a grind but we where able to boat 3 of 4 kings with the biggest being just over 22 lbs. IMG_2015.JPGIMG_2016.JPGIMG_2019.JPGIMG_2020.JPG

  5. Very nice.  Good to put a face to a name even if it was for a quick second.  Yea it was a rough go thats for sure.  I’m out on my rig know and it layed down a little compared to this morning.  Haven’t moved a rod yet in a hour of fishing.

Has temp moved way out? Stick with it. They have to chew at some point. We will be back at it in the morning. Not sure where I will start. Probably in 130 and push out from there. Good luck! Hope to see some pics soon. As a side note Wednesday afternoon was a solid spoon bite

  6. I jumped on the “Organized Chaos” with cuttermag.  After a slow/rough ride out we set up in front of catfish and trolled west in 170FOW. After getting beat up we spun around and we are workin back towards port now.  3 good rips on FF dipsey.   Packin it in now.  0/3

Nice to meet you this morning at the dock. We had a rough ride and after one passenger lost all color in his face we went back to the dock and changed leader and he wanted to go back out after some browns. We took a 12lber and got on the board .IMG_2015.JPG
