Can anyone tell me if the Point Anne boat launch is ok to use, or should I go to the one on Herchimer Ave.  I am launching a 14 foot deep v aluminum smokercraft.  It's my first time going to this area. The area at Point Anne doesn't look too good on Google Earth.

Are the browns off Ashbridges bay now? If so, how far out and how deep?  What colour and type of lure is working?

TRIP OVERVIEW I finally hooked a salomon on a Dipsey diver rig. It jumped twice and looked great. But what a nightmare trying to handle the 8 foot rod,magnum Dipsey and the net by myself in my shallow 14 foot tin boat. The fish was boat side but just wouldn't wait for me to get organized. Thanks very much for the tip, I'll keep in mind. Just came back from Algonquin Park on Canoe Lake. The Lake Trout were about 10 feet down but couldn't get them to bite. The wind was 60 km plus and some blowing snow squalls. Next stop, Shining Tree for Walleye and Norhern Pike.

Hi, I'm using a Magum Dipsey diver with an O ring. My problem is the 50# flourocarbon leader is occasionally wrapping itself around the main line. The leader is 4 feet long and the lure is 70 Williams . It did not happen with a J-plug. Any ideas?

I was out Friday a.m. off Ashbirges Bay and saw two medium salmon caught with a blck dipsey diver rig. I too was using a Dipsey diver only Gold with a black O ring. I had a 4 foot flourocarbon leader with a siver Williams spoon. The leader kept winding itself around the main line. Any ideas as to the cause?
