  1. Yeah, I agree. But I’m good with that...more for me [emoji23]. I only keep a few pigs early in the year to fill my itch from the long North East winters...then it’s smaller eater eyes. Plus it gets tougher to catch once bait fish move in (which they are now) and my sleepless nights catch up to me. Keep grinding boys.

    What area are you fishing? I struck out last week trolling for eyes in BRB.

  2. So the last time I fished near the 'lanes' n.w. of galloo, I got a welcome text from Canada on my cell.  From the chart I had I was no where near the border but it scared me because I couldn't see the border on GPS, and have heard about what can happen if you are caught fishing in Canadian water.  How does one know where the border is?  Maybe it was on my GPS but I was zoomed in too much.
    Thanks

    Jeff

    ==================

    I just wanted to post a sincere thanks to the members of the site a few in particular Chris (Kerchner) who helped me get started this summer. I was able to go out with my Dad in August and we both caught our first Kings together. It turned out to be the only Kings he'll ever catch, because he passed away suddenly of a heartattack in November. One of the first things I thought about when I heard about him was our time together on our new boat catching those salmon we had no idea we could land. That one weekend we had together is sacred to me now.

    I'm actually thinking about taking out wounded law enforcement or veterans as a way of thanking them in memory of my Dad. If anyone has experience doing that or knows a contact let me know.

    I'd like to encourage you all to take out your parents, siblings, kids, whoever, if at all possible, and cherish your families because you never know when God might take them from you.

    Thanks again Gentlemen!

    Jeff

  4. We fished last weekend and got 3 in the trench Saturday morning and evening. Thermocline seemed to move down quite a bit. This one was very long caught over the finger last saturday and weighed 24lb. My buddy Matt had a great fight on his birthday with his first salmon! Pretty good we landed one despite getting tangled in the release and totally frayed the line. We are 8 for 8 on salmon this year!
