I consistently run riggers throughout the summer for walleye. I run mostly spoons (stingers & nk28) with an odd stickbait mixed in too. This past summer the riggers where as good and if not better than dipseys some days. I only run 5-15' leads off the ball. My speeds are 1.7 to 3mph but majority of time 2.5 mph. If running two riggers I will keep them staggered by atleast ten feet apart. The riggers put in hundreds of walleye in the boat this past summer.

Look at pro troll they have attachments for the speed and steering of kicker motors that work remotely.

Just got off the lake at 3:30, beautiful day out there. The grand total was 2-22lbr, 1-16 lbr and a couple ten pounders and a laker netted. Lost two quality fish, screamers! And had about half a dozen knock offs, short stikers.
Mostly a spoon bite 30-40 feet down in 55-70 FOW, one 22lbr on a sebile swim bait. Most hits taken on a silver/purple pirate66 spoon

I've had one for three years now and they are a great unit. Only down fall is its push buttons. They have no backlight in the button so you can't really see which buttons your pushing when it's dark out.
